UMP Cooperates with FTLife to Expand Cashless Treatment Coverage for Scheme Members

UMP Healthcare Holdings Limited ("UMP" or the "Group", Stock Code: 722.HK) is pleased to announce today that UMP Professional Management Limited, an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, has entered into an agreement with FTLife Insurance Company Limited ("FTLife") to provide its insured, policyholders and their family members with medical management and value-added services, starting on 1 October 2022 for a period of three years.


Imaging diagnostic tests, ambulatory examinations and day surgeries have become increasingly common in recent years. Upon entering the agreement, FTLife individual medical insurance scheme members can receive cashless treatment with pre-approval by network doctors for diagnostic imaging tests, gastroscopy, colonoscopy, wart removal surgery, cataract surgery, inpatient surgery and a series of other related services. In addition, approved day surgery arrangements will be payment-free and claims-form-free, so that patients can receive timely and high-quality medical services, while having comprehensive protection for patients and their families with less financial burden and psychological stress during treatment.


UMP has been working closely with many insurance companies for years, offering various corporate healthcare solutions, designing and managing members' plans, and providing third-party medical administration services, such as specialist referrals, inpatient arrangements, second medical opinions, and Mainland medical escort service, VIP channel, etc. This new service agreement with FTLife is UMP's first customized healthcare solution for individual scheme customers of an insurance company, further intensifying the collaboration model of "Medical+Insurance".
