Working Together to Develop a "Healthy Bay Area"

Moreover, UMP is devoted to promoting conversations between Hong Kong and China by leveraging Hong Kong's technology and talents to support the development of the national healthcare network. In response to the "Outline of the Greater Bay Area Development Plan for Guangdong” and the National PPP approach actively, UMP cooperated with local health authorities to set up more than 100 public-private partnership (PPP) medical service points and launched the only Hong Kong-based healthcare platform to be awarded an Internet hospital license in mainland China. UMP has also been working with the local governments to establish the GOLDTM Hong Kong-style family doctor and nurse training courses, which would strengthen general practitioners' self-confidence and social status, and eventually support the standards improvement of primary care.
